DWI Dutchess Man Had Suspended License, Sheriff Says

A Dutchess County man was arrested for DWI and driving with a suspended license after being stopped for a traffic violation.

David Leroy, 27, of Hyde Park, was stopped Saturday around 9:51 p.m. on West Road in Pleasant Valley, said Lt. Frank LaMonica Jr.

During the stop, an investigation revealed that Leroy was intoxicated and that he had a suspended / conditional license, he added.

Leroy was charged with DWI & BAC.08% or more, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, as well as a traffic infraction.

He was released to appear in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court on April 19.
